Leads quietly, lunges like a gentleman, bathes, stands on cross-ties patiently for grooming. Works in the ring or on trails, alone or with friends. W/t/c, picks up correct lead, good whoa. Speckles is more forward than laid back. Prefers a rider with soft hands, neck reins. Loads and trailers well. Good in new environments. Good around wildlife and machinery. No spook, rear or bolt. Turned out or in a stall Speckles is fine. No cribbing, doesn't test fences. Speckles is turned out in a mixed herd, lower in pecking order. Easy to catch. Stands for saddling and bridling.
